How To Stop Your Dog Barking In The Car.

This week in the club, I was asked about how to deal with car barking.

Your dog barking in the car can be a annoying and dangerous distraction. Find out how to solve this common struggle, quickly and easily, the Fun Not Fear® Club way.

Car barking can involve triggers outside the car, or it can simply be an expression of being highly aroused (either scared or excited) in the car. It can even be a way that our dog is letting us know they feel a touch of motion sickness.

Dealing with car barking

How we go about dealing with the barking takes a two pronged approach.

First, we need to help our dogs feel calm about being in the car, and manage any motion sickness.

Second, we need to help our dogs feel calm around triggers.

If we can do both of those things, we have cracked the car barking.
