Hi Gang

This week, I have experienced first-hand what it is like to take on something completely new and be expected to know how to do it all at once.

I’ve started teaching English to speakers of other languages, and it’s a really steep learning curve.

Being overwhelmed is tough, even when we put ourselves in that situation. Especially when other people look to you to have the answers and know what you are doing!

When humans get in these situations, we can often ask for help or clarification regarding the bits we do not understand. We can also ask for a break when we need it.

Our dogs do not have that luxury.

Anxious dogs can find training and learning new things quite stressful, and so I’ve put together 7 tips for helping them feel less overwhelmed and more able to succeed.
